Acts 3:42 "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe..."
This is a fair description of the Oakhill "family" gathering often in every season to celebrate our love for the Lord and for one another. We would love to have you join us.
FELLOWSHIP AT OAKHILL:
An amazing body of Christians make up the congregation at Oakhill.
There are many activities throughout the year, beginning the year with a New Years Eve gathering to play games, enjoying the sense of family to kick off the year.
Seder Dinner: celebrating the Jewish Passover leading into Easter has become an exciting event. Pastor Jeff leads the guests through a authentic Haggadah, teaching the Presence of the Lord in all the elements of this feast. This leads into the Easter morning "family" breakfast before our worship service.
Of course, there is a fall Kick Off Picnic, welcoming us all back from our summer routines. Another way to wrap up after a good sermon each week is the "Fellowship Hour" with coffee and goodies that seems to please one and all as we come together after a busy week.
A monthly "potluck" is hosted by our deacons and gives us an opportunity to share a meal with our friends and any newcomers. This is a real crowd pleaser.
As the year unfolds, again we gather together at the Thank Harvest Dinner, including lots of turkey, stuffing, potatoes , vegetables and wonderful desserts. This is a time to share with our loved ones at the table for which we are thankful.
There are many other groups that fall under fellowship:

There are many other groups that fall under fellowship:
- The Women's Committee hosts a variety of events for the women and the church including a Women's Bible study.
- The Men's group hosts a Men's Bible study along with a variety of active Christian speakers from our community, sharing a wonderful meal and fellowship
- A group of ladies meet weekly during the school year on Thursday mornings to work together on a variety of sewing and craft projects for charity organizations, shut-ins and others in need. It's a great time for fellowship!
- So many different areas for all of us to take part in, that is what helps make Oakhill an exciting place. There is always a way to get involved.
