I am excited you have taken the time to "check me/us out". I was born and raised in Illinois and consider myself to be a "Midwest person," even though I have lived all over the country.
I met the Lord Jesus Christ through a campus evangelist as a college freshman. I graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in engineering and worked for two Fortune 100 companies prior to my full time call to pastoral ministry. I have been pastor at Oakhill Church since graduating from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California.
I met my wife, Dianne, here in Grand Rapids, and the Lord has given us three wonderful daughters, Heather, Kathryn and Rachel.
My main love in minstry is preaching and teaching the Word and watching the Lord's people come alive to new spiritual places in their lives. It is wonderful to see what the Lord is doing at our church as we grow together into a New Testament congregation by His amazing grace.
